Link Medical Diagnostic & Research Laboratories (hereafter referred to as “Link Labs”) offers a variety of healthcare services, including diagnostic insights that help individuals live their healthiest lives by making smart healthcare decisions. These terms of service (“Terms”) apply to all online and in-person services that Link Labs provides directly to individuals, including scheduling appointments, digital medical information and records access and management, private-pay diagnostic tests and services, and Link Labs’ websites and apps (collectively, “Link Resources”), but not diagnostic and healthcare services provided via Nigerian regional healthcare schemes. Link Resources

Link Resources are supplied “as is,” with no warranties, representations, or guarantees of any kind, explicit or implied, or statutory. You fully acknowledge and accept that every usage of Link Resources is at your own risk. You agree that Link Labs is not responsible for Link Resources being unavailable at any time, or for the accuracy, completeness, integrity, quality, or timeliness of any laboratory test findings or other material, or for any failure to send or store any laboratory test results or other content. The reliability, validity, correctness, completeness, integrity, quality, or timeliness of any laboratory test findings or other information is not represented or warranted by Link Labs. Any use, non-use, reliance, or non-reliance on any laboratory test findings or other content is solely at your own risk.

Medical Advice

The purpose of Link Resources is to provide you with administrative and informational healthcare management services, as well as private-pay laboratory tests that are not covered by your NHIS plan. Link Resources are not intended to offer you medical or other advice. Consult your physician or other health care provider for advice on your test results or medical condition. Laboratory results will be presented to you in a format similar to that used by your physician or other health care provider. Your doctor or other health care provider has the specialized medical training to understand the implications of the test results.

Link Labs has made no efforts to modify the presentation of the test results in order to make them more understandable to viewers without medical training. If you do not discuss your test results with your doctor, you risk misinterpreting the results and their implications. Any other health and health-related information provided to you or contained within any Link Labs website or app is intended to be general in nature and should not be used in place of a visit to your physician or other health care provider. Any such information obtained from any Link Resources may be inappropriate for your specific situation or may be misinterpreted.

Link Labs accepts no liability for how you use the information obtained from this site. If you have a medical emergency or need to speak with a doctor right away, call us, contact your doctor, or go to the nearest hospital.

Consent

You agree that your use of Link Resources, are subject to your acceptance of all of these Terms of Use, Copyright, and Website Privacy Policy. You agree that by using this website or accessing any Material on this website, you will not violate any local, state, federal, or international laws.

Use

You are only permitted to use Link Resources for personal, non-professional, non-commercial purposes. You may not resell, commercialize, or modify Link Resources, nor may you use data mining, robots, or other similar data collection and extraction methods on Link Resources. Individuals under the age of 18 are not permitted to use Link Resources without the permission of a parent or guardian. In addition, Direct Services only gives access to investigations to people who are 18 years old or older.

Certain Link Resources allow you to upload items for specific purposes, such as your laboratory test request, so that it is ready when you come for your appointment at the Link Labs patient care center. You must not use this function to upload anything other than the stated things for the specific purpose, and you must take reasonable precautions to ensure that your upload does not introduce dangerous code or programs onto Link Labs’ information systems, such as viruses, worms, or trojan horses.

Access To The Site

If you violate any of the terms of this agreement, Link Labs reserves the right to prohibit, restrict, or terminate your access to specific, or all pages on the website without warning or liability. Link Labs has the right to add to, change, suspend, or cancel Link Resources in whole or in part, including the availability of any feature or material, at any time and without warning. 

Link Labs reserves the right to change these Terms of Use at any time and without notification. The modified terms of use will become effective once they are posted on our website.

Termination Of Access

Link Labs may, at any time, with or without warning, cancel or suspend your access to all or any portion of Link Resources, including your account and lab test results, for any reason, including, without limitation, a breach of these Terms. Without limiting the foregoing, any fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity, as well as any activity that compromises the security of Link Labs systems or obstructs the enjoyment or access of others to Link Resources, will result in the termination of your access and, in the worst-case scenario, a permanent ban from using Link Resources. When Link Labs gets a copy of a user’s death certificate, access to their account will be revoked, and all data will be permanently destroyed.

Ownership

Link Labs is and will stay the primary and exclusive holder of all right, title, and interest in and to Link Resources along with all the software and technology used by Link Labs to provide services, including copyright and all other intellectual property rights, as well as all advancements, adjustments, and developments thereunder, as between you and Link Labs. Except for Link Labs’ permission to use Link Resources in accordance with these Terms, you will have no rights to all or any part of the above. Any intellectual property utilized in providing our services may not be copied, modified, rented, leased, loaned, sold, assigned, distributed, licensed, sublicensed, reverse engineered, or used to produce derivative works.

Security

You agree that Link Labs does not operate or control the internet, and as a result, Link Labs does not guarantee that your use of this website will be error-free or without technology downtime or unavailability.

You agree and acknowledge that Link Labs cannot and does not guarantee against viruses, worms, or other unauthorized users or cybercriminals trying to access this website or data transmitted to or from this site.

Privacy

Link Labs is committed to protecting your privacy. We will need to collect and use some of your personal details, including personal health information and the personal details of any individuals you include in your account, in order to provide you with Link Resources services. User IDs And Passwords

In order to utilize certain Link Resources, you must first establish an account. Your user ID and password for any Link Resource are personal and should not be disclosed or used by anyone else. Legal

You agree that any complaint or dispute arising out of or pertaining to the Link Labs Nigeria website, or your use or reliance on it, will be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without respect to its conflict of law provisions. The parties agree to comply by the municipal, state, or federal courts in Imo State, Nigeria, and to submit to their exclusive jurisdiction.
