• Paternity/Maternity DNA testing is a blood test that verifies a parent's or parents' biological link to a kid or children.
• Respiratory Panel: Tests are used to identify a variety of respiratory viral and bacterial diseases, including influenza, respiratory syncytial, mycoplasma, and streptococcus pneumoniae.
• Gastrointestinal Panel Assays: These are multiplex one-step real-time RT PCR assays that simultaneously detect and identify about 15 gastrointestinal pathogens, including Norovirus, Campylobacter spp., Giardia lamblia, E. coli O157, etc.
• HPV detection test using real-time PCR.
• Mycobacterium tuberculosis and 38 mutations linked to drug-resistant tuberculosis are simultaneously detected using the MTB/MDR/XDRe diagnostic method.
• Using DNA recovered from peripheral whole blood, freshly frozen tissue, or formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue samples, BRCA 1 and BRCA 2 gene mutations may be qualitatively detected. A woman is more likely to have ovarian and breast cancer if she carries a variation of the BRCA gene. Additionally, they raise a man's risk of acquiring prostate and male breast cancer.
